Something Starcraft 2 wanted me to Download

While installing the Single Player portion of Starcraft, a pop-up saying that i had to go to Blizzard.com, use my account, confirm the Cd-key, ect.
in the end they told me i had to download this blizzard downloader thing.
While downloading that downloader i realize it says "Downloading time +40 Hours" (or something like that). Is it that necessary to download it.

oh Battlenet? Yeah, it is necessary, and the long download time is because of everyone downloading. Overloaded servers. Have fun waiting lol. With SC2 out I might go buy the original.. lol. anyways good luck with the download.

You may want to wait a bit. It will go faster in a few days.

I wouldn't suggest buying the original, folks are rude on there, and they are all evil good, unless you buy it for the single player, in which case single player was fun, for the original and for the expansion pack.

Single player is still enjoyable for Starcraft 2.
the only major problem is that it has a 1-2 cutscenes after every campaign.
kinda like in super smash bros brawl
