I can only tell you what I know. We don't know whether it was an accident or not. We were all hanging out in my backyard. Jerick said he was going to call my mom's friend about a job. He said he wanted it to be quiet so he asked us to go inside. He also said that when he got off the phone he was going to come inside. After about 15 minutes, we went looking for him. Another friend of mine ran inside screaming that Jerick was drowning. We all ran outside and started giving CPR. We got him to breathe but he ended up dying in the hospital later.
