I'm beyond excited for it, I just wish it was sold separately as I have no interest in Infinite Warefare.

I hear you must buy the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare ($80) to get it, which sucks. But I will reserve judgment until I play Infinite Warfare because it is Infinity Ward making it and they are selling that nastalgia after all (we know you Activision! Then the corporate hack leans in "we know you better, nastalgic cod gamer".)
Who knows, Infinity Ward might have another fun game in them, but no one cares about the new game. It feels like they are shamelessly using those who love the old game to push the new one (force it on us really...."you can't play this, unless you buy that...").
But, the world is full of gamers like me who Activision knows will shell out the clams for this reboot, no matter how many strings attached. Apparently, my soul has an Activision barcode on it....but, bet your ass I'm not the only one

next time they remaster MW2 and ask to buy another embarrassing futuristic star wars halo edition and i fear they will sell it at a much higher price.

I dont think so they will repeat the same mistake as this one, if they do then....... man they just soo stoopid.

Whos the stupid one, the one who made it or the ones who still buy it. Its an obvious ploy to get people to shell out twice what they should for a game no one really had any interest in and it will work. CoD nubs still CoD nubs. It's one thing to get people to buy a new game that's just upgraded graphics every time but to get people to pay extra for a game they don't want to get a game that is literally upgraded graphics of a game they have already made shows just how well they market stuff and the power of nostalgia.

Plus TalonFox is right...seen better. BF1 gameplay looks a lot better imo.

I never said that cod4 remastered has the best graphics... i agree there are alot of better ones.
They could have turned it into "bf1" graphics if they had to change engines.. they wanted to keep the old nostalgic factor so that people wont get angry to see they messed up the game again and THAT you will never understand Chem... cause you clearly dont like cod. lol
I said "what a remaster should look like" not "what a game should look like" you guys are bumping with bf1 graphics that is not even related to remaster stuff.

You should then criticize Doom and stuff since they are remastered but still they don't look as good as Bf1, lol

And about that edition factor, we cant resist if one old game makes a comeback with better graphics and ANTI HACKING SYSTEM SINCE OLD ONES CONTAIN HACKERS AF. So still we, being humans buy it since we dont have any choice.

I thought he was talking about Activision being stupid if they did with MW2 like they are doing with COD4, making you buy a space game with it etc....at an even higher price. If they make a lot of money, though, they WILL do it again($). Using remasters to sell new games.

The point is they remastered a game and half assed it. It doesn't look much better and its no where near what it could be, on top of that the sky rendering and weather effects are actually worse then the original. They rushed it to sell a new game, sad.

I don't see how Doom is relevant since I haven't commented on it, but yes Doom's was pretty «♯♯♯♯♯♯♯» too, hint why no one plays it anymore.
