Oh man! I have to say that Fallout New Vegas is awesome. The sidequests are brilliant and unique, charactes are done great, the story is brilliant even if there are some cliches. Must be in my top 5 games of all time.
I'm currently thinking about buying Fallout 2. A couple years ago I tried the 1st one, but I never could get into it beacuse of the controls. Maybe after these years it won't be such a big problem for me.
So what do you thinking about Fallout 2? I heard it's great, but you know nostalgia is doing some work here too. By the way what is your favourite Fallout game? I only played the 3rd one and New Vegas and for me New Vegas better in almost every way.

I haven't played much of the Fallout series, but one of my good friends thinks Fallout 2 is the best game of all time lol.

The reason I like Fallout 2 is that every battle is somewhat dangerous. When you beat something, it really feels like you accomplished something, YOU beat that radroach or whatnot.

Someone mentioned fallout!
I have played through all of the fallout games except fallout 3 (because I have windows 10) and fallout 4 (because I have yet to purchase it). I never finished New Vegas because of save glitches but that's my own personal issues with the game. Fallout 2 controls very closely to the original Fallout. Fallout New Vegas is much easier than Fallout, Fallout 2, or Fallout tactics (I don't recommend playing tactics but that's just me). Granted you can make New Vegas harder by not using VATS but whats the fun in that? The original games have tons of secrets and I recommend playing them blind if you play them at all.
I recommend playing the classic games but that's mainly because I started on them. Many people can't stand them after playing 3, New Vegas, and 4.

I've never played any of the previous ones, but I simply love Fallout 4. I have it PS4 and I think it's awesome. I'm at lvl 40 ish, but haven't done any Main quest almost. I think I've done about 10 main quests I think. It's never ending. I have only tried Fallout 3 I think it was, a long time ago, but it didn't catch my attention at that time. Highly recommend getting Fallout 4, especially if it's on sale.
